1.  Log onto your hosted desktop.

2. Double-click the Computer icon on your hosted desktop.
    

3. Any drives mapped on your local computer will be passed through to your remote desktop.

For example:

4.  In the example above, HOME is the name of the computer from which the user connected to the hosted desktop; i.e. the local computer. 

  • The C on HOME drive shown in figure 3b is actually the C drive of the computer shown in figure 3a.
  • D on HOME is the CD drive of the local computer, and E on HOME is the DVD drive on local computer.

Note:  To access a removable storage device like a USB drive, please, install the device in the local computer before you connect to your remote desktop.
